1. Could we have a loft conversion?
As long as you have a ridge height of at least 2.1 metres a loft conversion is possible.
2. What about new houses?
Trussed roof conversions are more complicated to convert but as a truss roof specialist we can convert any loft.
3. What service do you offer?
We shall personally help you design your loft to suit your requirements. From the architects drawings to the final product, we do it all. All you have to do is decorate and carpet.
4. What about building regulations and planning?
We specialise in loft conversions and know the building regulations and planning process inside out. We meet the building inspector on site through out all stages of the conversion through to the final inspection. Shortly after you will be issued with a final certificate to prove your loft has been completed to current building regulations.
5. How do stage payments work?
A 1st stage payment is required within the first week once you have met the teams and the work is progressing well. A 2nd stage payment is required once the plastering has been completed and the 2nd fix joinery is about to begin. A final payment is due once all the work has been completed to your satisfaction.
6. Do you guarantee your work?
Yes! All the work is guaranteed with a five year contract.
7. Who carries out the work on our loft?
We have teams of full-time professional loft converters who will solely work on your loft. A site supervisor will take a personal interest in your loft to ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard. Together we will personally guide you through all aspects of your loft conversion from start to completion.
8. How long will it take?
If your local council requires planning permission this will take a minimum of 8 weeks to get passed. The work on site will vary between 5 and 8 weeks depending on the size and design of your loft conversion.
9. Will there be much mess?
We will keep it to a minimum, we will erect a scaffold either at the rear or side of the property, then removing a few roof tiles the team will use this entrance for access for them selves and materials.
